Comeback Ribery Could Not Confirmed

Munich – Bayern Munich ace Franck Ribery had pulled over a month with an ankle injury. But when Ribery could be back in action on the field, Bayern can not confirm it.

French winger was yet again grazing since pulled out in the middle of the Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetski March 11.

At first, the club’s medical team – which has now retreated – pretty sure Ribery soon recovered and the players have been following the team’s training before the defeat of Bayern from Borussia Moenchengladbach on 22 March.

But recovery suffered a setback. Currently the club’s medical team retreat claim has been blamed for injuries after a number of players Bayern 1-3 defeat at the hands of Porto. Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer indicates it relates to injury Ribery.

“We’ve made a number of steps (towards comeback Ribery) is too fast,” said Sammer told Kicker as quoted ESPNFC.

“We know now we must ensure that we should slowly in dealing with Ribery. No one can predict how much time he needs.”

“It really makes Ribery frustrating,” said Sammer. “A stupid situation for him.”

According to local media reports, Ribery is now limited to the exercise bike to maintain his fitness. 32 year old footballer was believed to still be absent in the DFB-Pokal semi-final against Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final or the Champions League first leg at the beginning of next month.
